Pam has been working for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute since 2010. It is with a strong dedication to assisting others that she approaches the topic of smoking cessation. Throughout her career she has been instrumental in developing and sustaining programs that lead to better health in the community. She has managed many departments with companies in both the public and private sectors, and worked alongside the military while deployed in combat environments in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Cyprus. She is an advocate of giving back to the community, and has spent many of her annual vacations volunteering with Global Village Habitat for Humanity. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Kinesiology, and recently completed her BSW and MSW at Carleton.
