Overview

Mustafa Coja has been with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute since 2009, contributing to both research and program implementation initiatives in smoking cessation. He currently serves as Manager of the Ottawa Model for Smoking Cessation, a program that supports hospitals, primary care, specialty clinics, and other healthcare settings with change management and the implementation of evidence-based smoking cessation practices—enabling them to better support patients with nicotine addiction. Mustafa holds a BPHE and a BA from Queen’s University and is a Certified Exercise Physiologist with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.
